David Adedeji Adeleke popularly known as Davido, born November 21st 1992 broke the internet when he took to his instragram story asking all his friends for one million each to celebrate his birthday and claimed he needed 100 million to ship his Rose Royce from port.
The first person to send to send the one million is Omoniyi Temidayo Raphael professionally known as Zlatan ibile. Others followed suit which earned Davido 7 million in 10 minutes, 42 million in an hour.
A random fan named Lincon gave out 1.6 million (10K Dirhams) when he met Davido in the mall, list of personnel that sent Davido money includes but are not limited to, Femi Otedola, Oba Elegusi, peruzzi, Mayorkun who are signed to his record label DMW( Davido Music Worldwide), MC galaxy, Don jazzy, Rema, Seyi Tinubu, Sophia Momodu who is Davidos’ baby mama.
Some corporate organizations like munch it, Wema bank, Travelbeta also sent donations. In less than 6 hours Davido made over 120 million.
Entertainers like Donjazzy, Teni, Psquare also took to their page claiming theirs fans should also get ready to donate money to them
