As promised, this episode is all for the curly beauties and the coily haired queens. Well, let’s get into it.

3) Curly hair

Well curly hair is more defined and springier than wavy hair, with more height and volume at the root. Like I said in the previous post, people tend to mix these two types of hair, but curly hair have tighter curls, than wavy hair. Well wavy hair does not exactly curl, they are in the shape of ‘s’, while curly hair curves more, and are a lot springier. This type of hair is so unique, because, if taken care of well, they look like goddess tresses.

How to take care of your hair

If necessary, shampoo once a week and co-wash once a week. Chicas with curly hair are presumably well aware of how rapidly it dries out. It's for this reason, that you should use a decent shampoo and a moisturizing conditioner at least once a week. If not, your hair would look really dry, and then may break.

Also, it would not hurt to deep condition every week or at least biweekly. This is because, because Type 3 hair is prone to become dry and frizzy, deep conditioning once a week (or twice a week) will help to alleviate these issues.

For more knowledge, I asked people with curly hair, and they claim that finger detangling is easier (and better!) for their hair than using a wide tooth comb.

Ideas on how to style your hair

Guys with curly hair do not have to stress for their hair to look amazing. I mean just leaving it still looks really good.

I mean, all the person did, was do her baby hair. I am telling you, with proper hair tending, you can go out with your curly hair, and maybe just put on some hair accessories. Like, headbands or hair pins.

4) Coily hair

The texture of coily hair, also known as Afro-textured or kinky hair, is naturally very dry and spongy, and it can be soft and fine or harsh and wiry. Strands create very tight, little zig-zag curls immediately from the scalp and are proned to significant shrinking. I personally fall under this category, Type 4B to be specific. And I must say, having coily hair is really tough to handle. This is because unlike other types of hair, this hair suffers lots and lots of shrinkage. This occurs when water or air in general touches it.

How to take care of your hair

· Look for moisturizing products all the time. Basically, your hair can never be fully dry. If not, it would break. It needs moisture, cause this type of hair looks dry normally, and it needs a little bit of shine.

· Also, before picking up a comb, use your fingers to detangle. Always comb from the bottom up when you're doing so. This type of hair is tender, and cannot stand the rough edges of comb. Which is why it is advised to detangle it first with your fingers.

· To reduce heat exposure and frizz, air dry your hair even if you intend to use a blow dryer or diffuser.

· To avoid friction and frizz, use a silk pillowcase while sleeping.

These are the tips that I feel would maintain your coily hair.

Styles for your hair

For me, this type of hair does not need any dramatic style, because this type of hair turns heads enough. What I would prescribe, is to take care of it well, and leave it.
