I would show you guys how to style your clothes in a way that would express your true self.

Before styling, you need to discover your aesthetic, what type of clothes make you feel good?, after answering this question, you would be able to then look for clothes to fit that style. Nextt time, we would be taking a look at different types of styles.

People have different reasons for dressing the way they do, some of which may include; to appeal to the opposite sex, to feel good about themselves, to keep up with the trends, religion, personal beliefs, influence from the outside world etc.

Fashion consists of styles, which have different determinants. These determinants may include style, situation or even weather. The way you would dress on a cold and windy day, differs from the way you would dress on a hot and sweaty day. It may also come as a shocker that the weather may be really hot, but the style of two individuals may differ a lot. Let’s take for an example, on a sunny day, individual A might put on a casual tee, with a pair of skinny jeans, and sneakers, while another individual may be clad in a designer maxi dress, with a pair of glitzy sandals. This shows that as individuals, our taste and choice in fashion, is what makes us unique.

A mental note for la chic family, you are unique, you are different, do not be afraid to let your style show through your clothes. Just like how an individual’s fingers have different lengths, we are all very different. Do not let another person’s style make you question your own style. Also, do not let others bring you down.
