ROMANTIC MOVIES TO WATCH BASED ON YOUR LOVE LANGUAGE

One of my themes this Valentine's Day is all about helping people feel less alone. There are a variety of ways in which we express our feelings as human beings, and because we have no one with whom to do so, here are some films that may resonate with you based on your major love language.

Words of Affirmation- The Notebook

New Line Cinema

Noah Calhoun (Ryan Gosling) and Allie (Rachel McAdams) are passionately in love in 1940s South Carolina. However, her parents are still not pleased. When Noah enlists in the army, it appears that they have broken up. meanwhile, Allie is getting intimate with a new guy (James Marsden). On the eve of Allie's wedding, Noah comes to their little village and rekindles their romance.

A trove of unopened letters reveals new details about Noah and Allie's storied romance. To remind Allie (who suffers from memory loss) who they are in the end, he reads aloud from his journal frequently.

I'm not crying, you are..😣😭

Acts of Service- On Your Wedding Day

Filmaker R&K

Park Boyoung and Kim Young-kwang star in this Korean romantic comedy about two high school sweethearts who maintain a long-term, troubled relationship that began in junior high and has lasted far into adulthood. The main takeaway from the tale is the fact that the grass is only greener where you water it.

Woo-yeon does a lot of kind things for Seung-hee in this movie. Like giving her an mp3 player with her favorite song, "Smile Again," so she could lift her spirits when she was down or making sure she ate her lunch every day. Most significantly, the movie shows that love is more than simply a sensation; it is also a purposeful decision. 🔒❤️

Quality Time- Everything, Everything

Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer

Despite her illness, Maddy (Amandla Stenberg) is an inquisitive 18-year-old who is eager to see the world around her, even though she can't leave her house. As a neighbor, Olly (Nick Robinson) refuses to allow distance keep them apart, even though he lives on the other side of town. With just text messages to communicate, Maddy and Olly develop an intimate relationship. It doesn't matter how much money they have, they'll do everything to be together.

She takes a huge risk by travelling to Hawaii with him, and the two of them are the epitome of cute. If you open a dictionary and look up the word "adorable," you'll see a picture of them right there. 🤗🤗

Gifting- Pretty Woman

Touchstone Pictures

The modern Cinderella is retold with the help of an unlikely pair: a prostitute and a wealthy businessman. During a business trip to Los Angeles, Edward (Richard Gere) randomly picks up a hooker named Vivian (Julia Roberts). The two become closer after Edward hires Vivian for a weekend stay, but it becomes evident that they have much work ahead of them to link their radically diverse world.

All my "Material Gworls" may use this one. When Edward goes all out for Vivian, it's immensely fulfilling. Many times in the film, he treats her to a lavish meal or shopping trip, and it's enough to make anyone wonder, 'God when?'" 😭❤️

Physical Touch- Dirty Dancing

Vestron Pictures

For the sake of getting to know the handsome Johnny Castle (Patrick Swayze), Baby (Jennifer Grey), a newbie dancer, agrees to partner up with him during a floor performance in the summertime. As she tries to persuade her father that their summer romance is more than simply a vacation fling, an average summer suddenly becomes fascinating. She tells us that unless we step out of our comfort zone, we'll never know what wonderful things life has in store for us.

Although the movie has several excellent examples of phyisical intimacy and romance the tone is kept light and endearing throughout. Just enough, not too much. 😏🙈
